Decree of President of Republic of Azerbaijan About the declaring of minute of silence in memory of victims of genocide of Khojaly. On February 26, 1992 the armed forces of Armenia committed against the Azerbaijan nation unprecedented genocide of Khojaly. This action of mass and ruthless bloodshed as one of the bloody pages of purposeful reactionary politic of armenian aggressors, whose aim is the state independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was the crime not only against the azerbaijan nation, but against whole humanity, and this event went down in history as black spot. With the aim to revere victim’s of Khojaly genocide memory I decree: To declare on the territory of Republic of Azerbaijan the minute of silence to revere victim’s of Khojaly genocide memory annually on February 26 at 17 o’clock.
